Callum Yates is primarily a sound engineer but is upskilled on lights and can operate both desks at the same time due to his massive hands and unparalleled work ethic. He can lift anything; whether its that ridiculously heavy guitar amp or team spirit, Callum is your man. Recently coming off tour with Giant Rooks & Glass Caves, Callum has experience on the road and brings confidence and a “go get it” attitude that bands vibe off and excel because of it! Only downside is he supports Man City.
Nick Smith is our head of touring, a lighting engineer and the logistics king, he has been on the road since England last won the world cup and brings experience to the touring environment. No task is too small as long as it ensures the band get what they need. Nick boasts an impressive Tour Management history, driving all over the UK and Europe. Dubbed ‘the fly on the wall’ one of his most endearing traits is his calm and inoffensive disposition, perfect for maintaining a cool atmosphere and high band morale.
Jay Bashir is oil to the machine and makes everything run smoother than Barry White’s voice. He is an experienced Tour Manager, tour managing some of the most exciting up and coming bands in the UK whilst driving them all over the British isles and Europe. As a musician himself, Jay has great knowledge of backline equipment and understands the needs of an artist before, during and after the performance. His van packing skills are so good that Ikea have actually tried to sign him on a 2 year deal to revolutionise their flat pack game.
Jake Mazzuca is our head of sound and part of the tour management team. His experience, Foot-to-the-floor work ethic and ability to create a huge, charismatic sound has helped solidify the reputation Light & Noise boasts today. His dedication to bringing you the best live sound possible is almost unhealthy, he is our wizard of sound, Gandalf of the desk and Dumbledore of the fader. Rest assured that you will be sounding bigger than big whilst you do your thing on stage!
